Description:

  • Water wall panels are used in Waste Heat recovery boilers. We manufacture Water wall panels. These are fabricated out of carbon steel tubes to customers' drawings and specifications. Special care is taken for ovality and thinning at the bent portion, during fabrication.

The tubes offered by us are known to withstand a great internal pressure as a continual strip of fin material is wound spirally on the tube. These tubes are known to provide heat uniformly that result in an increased heat output.

  • The main function of water wall panels in boiler is to absorb the heat generated by high temperature flame or flue and to generate steam or hot water in tubes, hence to reduce the temperature in the chamber.

 

Product Introduction


  1. Pinned water wall panels are typically installed vertically on the inner side of the furnace wall. Their main job? Soak up the radiant heat from the flame and hot flue gases inside the furnace. They’re the go-to evaporating heating surface in modern boilers and a key part of the boiler’s water circulation system. Why the name? Because they both cool down and protect the furnace wall.​
  1. Initially, water walls were designed just to shield the furnace from overheating, not to be heated themselves. But as people realized how well they transfer heat, they slowly replaced steam drums as the boiler’s main heating component.​
  1. Think of the water wall as a series of parallel pipes lining the boiler chamber. Their dual role is to absorb the intense heat from the furnace’s high-temperature flames and flue gases, turning water into steam or hot water inside the pipes. At the same time, they lower the furnace wall’s temperature, keeping it safe from damage.​
  1. In large boilers, where furnace flames burn extremely hot and radiate massive amounts of heat, the water wall is a heat - absorbing powerhouse. It soaks up 40 - 50% or even more of the boiler’s total heat. These days, almost all modern water tube boilers—except for some small ones—rely on water walls as their primary evaporative heating surface.

 

Advantages of Membrane Water Wall
